A Pre-Purchase Survey, also known as a Type 2 survey, provides a comprehensive evaluation of the property’s structure, weatherproofing, moisture resistance, and the condition of key services like wells and septic tanks for rural properties.
We also accommodate specific requests at no additional cost, ensuring the survey meets your unique needs.
Additionally, the survey includes a follow-up meeting where we will thoroughly explain the report and address any questions you may have.

The snag list is a complete list of defects noted on the condition or functionality of a new build house as well as any deviations from current building regulation requirements.
Snag lists include thermal imaging: We use thermal imaging technology to check for issues with the plumbing and insulation.

After every survey, we schedule a meeting to walk you through all the recommended actions in the report. Any questions or concerns you have will be clarified during this session, ensuring you have a complete understanding of the findings.

Once you complete your booking, we take care of everything else. My House Survey Ltd contacts the estate agent to arrange access. We will notify you once access is arranged.
The inspection will be within 5-10 working days of the booking depending on agent and vendor availability and the report will be issued within 3 working days of the survey.

The survey can be issued to an additional 3rd party once written permission is obtained from My House Survey Ltd.
